This notice explains what we collect when you contact us, why we collect it and how long we keep it. It is written in plain English because that is how we would want to read it ourselves.

What we collect and why
When you use the enquiry form, call us or email us we may collect:
- Your name and phone number so we can call you back about your enquiry.
- Your email address, if you give one, so we can send your written quotation.
- Your postcode or town so we can check the property is within the area we cover.
- A description of the project and any photographs you attach so we can give you a useful first answer and prepare for a site survey.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare a quotation and carry out any work you go on to book. We rely on the lawful basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in running the business and keeping proper records of work we have quoted for or completed.
What we do not do
- We do not add you to a marketing list or send newsletters.
- We do not sell or share your details with third parties for their own purposes.
- We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or social media pixels on this website.
Photographs
Photographs you send are used only to assess your project. We do not publish customer photographs or images of your property without asking you first.
Who sees your information
Your enquiry is handled by our own team. Enquiries are delivered to us by an email provider, and any quotation or invoicing records are held in our normal business systems. These providers process the information on our behalf and under our instructions.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months of our last contact with you.
- Quotations and completed work are kept for six years after the job, which is the period required for accounting and any guarantee or warranty queries.
Cookies
This website sets one short-lived, strictly necessary cookie to protect the enquiry form against forged submissions and to show you the confirmation page after you send an enquiry. It contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser. No consent banner is needed for cookies of this kind.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or, in many cases, ask us to delete it. To do any of these, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information we will update this page and the date at the top.
